Hot and Dry Desert

Teperatures in the hot and dry desert exhibit daily extreams because the atmosphere contains little humidity to block the suns rays.

Aunual Temperature: 20-25 degrees C.
Extreame Temperature: 43.5-49 degrees C.
Minimum Temperature: -18 degrees C.

Rainfall is very low and/or concentrated in short burts between long rainless periods. Sometimes rain starts falling and evaporates before reaching the ground.

Average rainfall: about 1.5 cm. sometimes less.

The Cold Desert
The cold desert has very cold winters. They have a lot of snowfall and rainfall over the winter and mild rainfall in the summer.

The winters in the cold desert are long and cold, therefore the summers are short and warm. They are also moderatly moist.

Annual Winter Temperature:-2 to 4 degrees C.
Annual Summer Temperature: 21-26 degrees C.

The average amount of precipitation is 15-26 cm.
maximum: 46 cm.
